“Stuck In The Fog”

You are not alone. We have all been there. Stuck in a situation. We don't know how we got there, we don't see a way out. It is there and in time, the way out will reveal itself. We are so stressed trying to find a way out that we only confuse ourselves. Sometimes, we need to simply stop, regain control before we can move on. Instead of searching for the way out, sit in reflection, allow the fog to lift, allow the way out to come to us. How can we chase something, when we don't know what it is that we are chasing? Sometimes we need to lose ourselves to find ourselves. Sometimes, we get overwhelmingly emotional that it clouds the brain.

Fog does not last forever. Eventually, the fog will clear and when it does, we need to embrace the change despite how much we fear it. It may not look like it right now, we may want to get through this as quick as possible, even try to rush through it. If you plow through something you can not see through, you will hit something you didn't know was there, creating a bigger mess to deal with.

Take a deep breath, and embrace the hard time. Robert Frost once said “The best way out is always through”. When we make it through (and we WILL make it through), we will look back in reflection. We will understand that the gloom had a purpose. We will be thankful that we were Stuck In The Fog.
