“Summer Swimmers”

It’s August 2020. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, people have been isolated in their house since March. Schools have been closed, all sports and all public gatherings have been banned. We’ve been dealing with government infighting, government restrictions, tempers are flaring, people being killed, rioting and looting in the streets. To say that 2020 has not treated us well is an understatement. If that’s not enough to keep you inside, this summer has been one of the most scorching that I can remember. The heat is not so bad, it’s the humidity that is simply stifling. The need to let loose and have some fun has overwhelmed these Summer Swimmers to the point that their need to swim has boiled over and they naturally couldn’t resist taking a break to absorb some fun again. To stumble across such a scene restores my faith in humanity. Water parks and public pools maybe closed, but these people have FOUND a way to fulfill their urgency to cool down, to enjoy each other’s company and to be normal once again.
