“A Quiet Place”

Life can get extremely busy. On a daily basis, our head is filled with millions of thoughts going off at rapid fire. We have to worry about loved ones, where they are, what we need to do to support them. We have to make sure everything at work is taken care of. We have to deal with all the stress that our bosses put on us. When we get home, we have to make sure all of our bills are paid and our house is not only taken care of, but kept up.
Sometimes, it’s nice to have A Quiet Place where we can take a deep breath and just BE. Be in the moment. Enjoy our self and enjoy the surroundings we are in. James Taylor sang about such a place in his mind. When he needed to get away, he was “gone to Carolina in my mind”. Every now and then when I need that place, I close my eyes and I can hear the clip clop of the horse and buggy and in my mind, I’m gone to Lancaster County. Where is YOUR quiet place?
