“Rodeo Sunset”

As the sun sets over Cowtown Rodeo, another rodeo season comes to a close. For us spectators, it means we will have to begin our rodeo withdraws. We have to hang up our hats, pack the boots away and hang up the rest of our Western Wear. This was my very first season following the sport. I have to thank everyone I met associated with this sport, y’all were so helpful and kind. The contestants always made me feel welcomed whenever I did my trailer walks. The rodeo clowns always made me feel important. Mr. Grant Harris himself, I never thought that I’d get the chance to meet him. He is a very intimidating looking man. Once he opened his mouth, he is the sweetest man. I could listen to his stories for hours. All you guys and girls really gave my career the jumpstart that I needed. Through all of your help and constructive criticism, not only have you made me a better rodeo photographer, but you have made me a PROFESSIONAL photographer. You have made this season, my first season, a memorable one! From the bottom of my heart, I thank you. See you next season!
