“The Bridge Less Traveled”

Most of us are set in our ways. Our paths are clearly drawn out and we know where we are headed. We always take the newest road built because it is the fastest route to where we want to get to. The one with the sound barriers that act as blinders to nature.

What if we didn’t? What if we took the original route? It may not be fitted with the latest technology, but it worked for those that came before us. If we took that older path way, it would bridge the gap between all the hustle and bustle of the modern era and the laid-back demeanor that our ancestors had. That old road would force us to slow down and enjoy the beauty around us. There is something to be said for taking the scenic route and seeing things we never would have from the highway.
