Throwback Thursdays
I began writing when I was in middle school. I struggled all the way up through high school writing poems that I hoped to one day to put music to. This was in a time before the internet was a common thing. I would type up my work and hand them out to fellow classmates who were interested in reading.
After high school, there was no way to get my work to a place where people could read it, so, I took a break. When I got to college, one of my projects was to put together a CD-ROM. I did the only logical thing to do and made a comprehensive project consisting of all my writing. Now, the internet was becoming a thing and Web Design was all the rage. I deigned a website with all my work on it. Being the starving artist that I was, I put it on a free website on Angelfire. After college, I went back into hibernation from writing.
Life events got in the way of me getting back at it. In the spring of 2010, I decided to re-invent my writing abilities and started writing articles. That is where our story begins.
I wrote and published on a free website called Live Journal. Over time, I couldn’t find the time to sit down and stick with it though. I recently unearthed those articles out of the archives. I felt that for a nice throwback, I’d re-publish them here for all to read. Each Thursday, I’ll post another from the archives. Now, I can see just how far I have come as a writer.
