Please Allow Me To Introduce Myself…

So, before I get into the thick of my blog, I have to give credit to my uncle, Rich Wilhelm. He writes a blog called Dichotomy Of The Dog. Thanks to frequent doctor’s appointments and the great technology of having the internet on my cell phone, I have reconnected with Uncle Rich’s blog and have become quite the fan. After reading his blog for some time now, I have been contemplating writing my own. But the more I thought about, I wasn’t sure I could commit to writing on a regular basis not to mention I didn’t think that my life was relatively interesting enough for people to read about. Then I thought about it some more. My wife is pregnant, I am unemployed and about to become a father. I have been a father for the last four years but I cheated. I came into my stepdaughter’s life when she was 5. I have never been a father for an infant. So, I believe I have quite the learning process to go through. Now that I think about it, I think this could be quite interesting.
To start off I would like to give everyone a brief introduction.
I was born and raised in Philadelphia and have been very proud of that fact. I believe this little fact led me to my fascination with The American Revolutionary War. The fact that I can physically visit the places where these important events took place, is absolutely fascinating to me. Later in life, this led me to a job as a historical tour guide at Fort Mifflin. Working at Fort Mifflin is what led me to be the founder of my own paranormal team, Tri-state Area Paranormal Research and Investigation AKA T.A.P.R.I.
I have always had a hard time in school due to the fact that an early age I was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). I struggled all the way up through high school but once I got into collage, school became a bit easier since I was doing something I loved. I wound up earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Web Design. But I have struggled with maintaining a job in the field for many years.
After my latest lay-off in the Web Design field, I took a job at Rite Aid as a clerk with the promise to be trained in management. My wife and I discussed the switch in careers and our thought process was that no matter what happens, if I have management under my belt, I could take that anywhere in the case that Rite-Aid ever went out of business.
Long story short, I no longer work for Rite Aid and am currently actively searching for a job but I find comfort in the fact I am able to collect unemployment until my situation improves.
Well, I believe that is all you need to know for a decent introduction.
Until next time, thanks for reading.
