“Get It Done”

My grandfather always told me to work smarter not harder. By the looks of it, so did Samuel's. Although he leads a simple lifestyle, Samuel knows how to work efficiently. Sure, cleaning the driveway could been done with a broom, but that would have taken hours to do. Hours that would have taken Samuel away from working on his farm, harvesting crops that bring in well needed money. It costs a lot to run a farm that is surrounded by cash crops. The driveway needs to be cleared. Samuel will clear it in just a few minutes time before quickly moving on to the next job at hand. This happens everyday from 4AM-8PM. He is discipline and hard working with a work ethic that is unmatched. If it were, Samuel wouldn't notice anyway. He is too busy working to get tangled in the affairs of others.

Amish may lead a simple life, and that is something that most take for granted. They underestimate how powerful they can be. When a barn comes down, in the English world, it takes weeks, sometimes even months to erect a new one. Among the world of the Amish, that barn is raised 12 hours. Never underestimate what you don't understand.
