“Glorious Light”

On a morning in Lancaster County, when the skies were supposed to block out all the light, He said “Let there be light” and there was. Even if it was only a brief moment. I was put in the right spot at the right time. I was in the middle of trying to shoot something and I was not having any luck. I kept thinking that I was never going to get anything usable. All of a sudden, something told me “turn around”. When I did, this Glorious Light hit me all at once. I knew it was going to be brief; that I had to take this shot and take it NOW before the light faded. I realized I had been put in that very spot on purpose.

Sometimes we are so focused on OUR plans, even if they are failing, that we forget to see opportunity when it comes. Where you are, is where you are MEANT to be. We may not understand the reasons in the present, eventually we will know why. Too many people get upset because they are “not where they are supposed to be”. The reality is, you are EXACTLY where you are supposed to be. Perhaps life is a puzzle. If where we are doesn’t make sense, then maybe we are missing something. Maybe we have to figure it out and get it right before we can move on. Until then, enjoy where you are. It wasn’t an accident!
