“This Moment”
There are eras in our life that pass by so quickly. We look back on those times with nostalgia. Most of the time, while we are around our friends, we want to fit in. We put on that “not caring” attitude when we think people are watching. We are so preoccupied with being included, that sometimes, we forget to just be ourselves and have fun.
Sometimes, we are so in the moment that everyone and everything around us is forgotten. That guard comes down for a split second, we become ourselves and we are present. When we do that, there is a certain magic that only occurs every so often. It's as if the sun, the moon, the stars and the Earth all align just right and that memorable moment occurs. We wish we could remember it forever.
This will only last but a brief time. What happened before, is done and over with. What will happen after this, doesn't matter. Right now, all the stresses of the world seem to melt away. There is no work, no school, no bills, no peer pressure. Just This Moment.
