“Early To Rise”

“Greet the dawn with enthusiasm and you may expect satisfaction at sunset”
~ Amish Proverb
When the alarm goes off, the longer we hit the snooze button, the more our day will drag. We need to get up and get moving. The faster we move, the more we get done. We need to wake up determined so we can go to bed satisfied.
There is a lot of competition out there. We need to be willing to do what most WON’T do. Most people don’t like to get up early on their days off or even on vacation. We need to take the possibility of sleeping-in out of the equation. If we want to get ahead, we need to show up before most people. If we are up before anyone else, that gives us a head start on what we want in life. By the time they get up, we already have 5 things done and now they have to catch up.
Nowhere is it more evident than on an Amish farm. As the sun prepares to rise over Lancaster County, the kerosene lamps are already burning in the barn. The Amish are already up and got a jump start on their day while everyone else is sleeping. If THEY can get up early WITHOUT technology, IMAGINE what WE can do WITH it! It’s time to turn on BEAST mode!
