While on a farm recently, I was feeding some goats. It got me thinking. Goats are as smart as dogs. My wife and I are now in discussions about getting a goat!

Here is what you don’t know about goats. Not only are they curious animals, goats are smart enough to find ways to get what they REALLY want. If there is food in a container with a lid on it, that goat WILL get that food. They are great escape artists as well. When fenced in, goats tend to find a way out. Extraordinary climbers, goats are commonly found in trees or other high places. They are an animal that is designed to climb steep rocky inclines such as the shoulders of mountains. While mostly friendly, they are determined to get what they want. It is no coincidence that they are named goats because they are the Greatest Of All Time!
