““Abandoned Farm Market”
This former farmer’s market was a staple in Northeast Philadelphia for over 30 years. Within the last couple of years, it’s been closed and abandoned. In 2022, it was torn down to build a Public Storage facility. I grew up around the corner from it. As a kid, I always thought the abandoned field next to it used to be a farm. As I got older, I realized the abandoned field next to it was just wild woodland that planes fly over as they land in the nearby airport. It’s amazing the stories we make up as kids for things we see all the time.
