Please Allow Me To Re-Introduce Myself...

I have been writing now for more than half of my life in some way, shape or form. Since July 2019, I have gained a lot more viewers. Therefore, I felt it was time to re-introduce myself and let you know a little more about me.

I was born and raised in Philadelphia, a fact that I have been very proud of. I believe that this is the very reason for my fascination with The American Revolutionary War. This led me to a job as a historical tour guide at Fort Mifflin. Working at Fort Mifflin is what led me to be the founder of my own paranormal team, Tri-state Area Paranormal Research and Investigation AKA T.A.P.R.I.

I have always had a hard time in school due to the fact that an early age I was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). I struggled all the way up through high school but once I got into collage, school became a bit easier since I was doing something I loved. I wound up earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Web Design.

I began writing in middle school. Influenced by the likes of Guns N’ Roses, I wrote my first “song” that was a direct knock off of one of their songs. I started seeing writing as a puzzle for me to solve. I continued to write poetry through high school and would gladly give copies away to anyone willing to read it. Without a means for anyone to read my work, I stopped writing after college.

I wrote eulogies for family members passings and then stopped again. I only began writing on a regular basis when I was inspired to start a life style blog just before my youngest daughter was born in 2010. When I saw that no one was reading my work, I gave it up again.

While I always fiddled around with taking pictures on vacation and at family functions, it was not until the summer of 2019 that I began to study photography. While in an antique store in Lancaster County, my wife said to me that we could probably sell some of the photos I take. With that, a new purpose was born.

I founded my photography business. As I learned more, my audience grew. I was putting simple little captions to each photo but I knew something was missing. When it came to photographing historical subjects, I loved to dig in and research the subject. That was my ticket back to writing.

Looking around at how much hatred is spread on social media, I wanted to do something different. I wanted to use my photography to remind people of the beauty still left in this world. I then came up with the idea to inspire people. If I could get something inspirational out of my own work, why not share that with the world?

Since I began matching my writing with my photography, I have been able to connect with more people. I am so grateful to everyone who follows my work and shares with me how my work makes them feel.

Now that I have my own website, I decided to post my blog on here. The response has been overwhelming. As I experience new things, I love to write about them and share them with you.

I thank each and every one of you for taking the time to view my work and I look forward to hearing from you.

Until next time,

Thanks for reading!
